Love days like this when you walk into the most random, hidden boutique in the depths of the Sydney outskirts and hear a track like this being played inside – where you physically throw down any and all items of clothing in your hands and jump on your phone to Google the lyrics (Shazam was a bit tired today…) Although I’ve never heard Vance Joy until now, his single ‘Riptide’ has been certified GOLD by ARIA and naturally – Triple J has jumped on board. For those of you in Australia lucky enough to be going to Splendour in the Grass on July 27th in Byron Bay….get excited, because you’ll be hearing this one live.
